Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu has signed for Ligue 1 side Auxerre on loan for the rest of the current season.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage via FCInterNews that the 25-year-old signed his contract with the French team this afternoon.

Radu had been on loan at newly-promoted Serie A side Cremonese for the first of the season, but found himself out of the starting eleven for the Lombard team due to the form of fellow goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi.

A number of clubs had come forward with an interest in signing the Romanian on loan until the end of the current campaign.

The strongest interest in Radu’s signature had come from teams in Ligue 1.

Among these, it is Auxerre who have won the race to sign the 25-year-old, as Di Marzio reports that they have wrapped up a loan deal to bring him in until the end of the campaign.
