Inter are set to wrap up contract extension talks with both wingback Matteo Darmian and striker Edin Dzeko in the near future.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri will hold meetings with both of the pair’s agents in which they will hope to get new deals agreed.

Both Darmain and Dzeko see their current contracts expire at the end of the current season.

In the former case, the Nerazzurri have already held talks with the 33-year-old former Manchester United and Torino wingback’s agent, and are close to agreeing a new deal until the end of June 2024, with the option of a further season until the end of June 2025.

In the latter case, the Nerazzurri are also very keen to extend the former Roma and Manchester City striker’s deal, whilst the player is also keen to stay on.

Accordingly, Dzeko’s contract could also be extended in upcoming talks.
