It has become a pattern that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has not been able to get the Nerazzurri firing over long periods despite his demonstrated capacity to orchestrate big statement wins against opposition.

This is the contention of today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who argue that the Inter coach must find the solution to his teams constant lurches forwards and backwards in form.

Inzaghi has now managed impressive wins over Napoli and AC Milan since the return from the winter break, and in both instances immediately followed them up with dropped points against teams in the bottom half of the Serie A table.

This clearly must change if the coach is to go the distance and win his first Serie A title on the bench.

For Tuttosport, the task at hand for the former Lazio coach will be to reorient his strategy from putting all his energy into big performances in top matches, and more towards managing the ebb and flow over a gruelling season-long schedule.
