Inter could be ready to build their own stadium in the event that city rivals AC Milan decide to pursue their own project rather than continuing to look to build a new stadium together.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would be prepared for the possibility of forging ahead on their own, and will not stay at the Giuseppe Meazza if the Rossoneri go it alone/

Yesterday, AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni made clear that Milan would seriously consider building a stadium on their own, and that their plan would be to pursue whatever the most immediately available option is.

This could leave Inter in the lurch, given that the Nerazzurri have been working towards building a new stadium together with their city rivals.

However, there would be a plan on Inter’s part, according to the Gazzetta.

The newspaper reports that the Nerazzurri would be ready to invest around €400 million in a new stadium for themselves alone.
