Inter are not expecting an offer any higher than €10 million from Paris Saint-Germain to sign defender Milan Skriniar before the January transfer window closes.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are not sure whether or not the Parisians will make an offer this month, and do not anticipate that it will be for all that much.
While Inter would be willing to listen to offers for Skriniar’s signature given the 27-year-old’s now well-known intention not to extend his contract, they will have to consider the size of any offer that they would accept.
The Nerazzurri could be inclined to cash in while they have the chance, particularly given the possibility that the situation could become overly tense and toxic as the season gets closer to its end.
However, the club do not expect PSG to go much higher than €10 million to sign a player who they can get for free in six months’ time, and would not consider this sufficient to sign a like-for-like replacement.
