Inter remain quite irritated with how defender Milan Skriniar and his agent Roberto Sistici have behaved in contract negotiations.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that whilst the situation around the 27-year-old has calmed in the past couple days, the Nerazzurri’s frustration with the pair’s conduct has not faded.

Right now, the situation between Inter and Skriniar resembles the calm after a storm, according to the Corriere.

The storm in question is the unfortunately-timed release of an interview with the Slovakian’s agent Sistici, in which the agent essentially confirmed the player’s intention to leave, likely for Paris Saint-Germain, during a match against Empoli.

The position of the club remains unchanged – Inter feel that this was very inappropriate timing from the agent, and that it risks spilling over onto the pitch more than it already has, with the Nerazzurri having suffered a shock defeat to Empoli in a match which saw Skriniar sent off.
