Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is aiming to be fit for the Serie A clash with AC Milan at the start of next month.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Croat trained separately again today, and that based on the progress of his recovery he is targeting the Milan derby on February 5 to be back from his calf injury.

So far, Brozovic has missed all of Inter’s matches back from the winter break with a calf problem that he picked up in training after the World Cup.

There is no question that the 30-year-old will be out for Saturday evening’s Serie A clash with Cremonese, and according to Sky it looks unlikely that he will be back in time for next week’s Coppa Italia quarterfinal match against Atalanta.

However, Brozovic is working with the aim of being fully fit in time for the derby clash with the Rossoneri on February 5.
