Paris Saint-Germain head coach is keen for his team to sign Inter defender Milan Skriniar before the end of the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the French coach wants to have the 27-year-old available in his squad for the Champions League and the Ligue 1 title race.

It now looks clear that Skriniar will join PSG sooner or later, whether it is this month before the transfer window closes or on a free transfer in June.

For Galtier’s part, the coach is keen on bringing in the former Sampdoria defender as soon as possible.

PSG have a Champions League round of sixteen tie against Bayern Munich to look ahead to, whilst the Ligue 1 title race is hardly wrapped up with Lens and Marseille breathing down the league leaders’ necks.

Accordingly, the coach wants Skriniar signed before the end of the transfer window, Tuttosport reports.

It could be tough to PSG to convince Inter on a deal, however, as the Nerazzurri would be left with little time to find a replacement for the Slovakian.
