Paris Saint-Germain are facing competition to sign Inter defender Milan Skriniar from an unnamed team in the Premier League who have made the player a higher offer.

This according to French news outlet Footmercato, who report that the 27-year-old has asked PSG to raise their offer to at least equal that which he has received from an English club.

PSG are pushing to sign Skriniar, and have already made their offer to the former Sampdoria defender and his representatives for the summer.

However, according to Footmercato, an unnamed team from the English top flight has outbid the Parisians.

The French outlet reports that this team from the Premier League has made a higher offer to Skriniar to join on a free transfer when his contract with the Nerazzurri expires at the end of June.

Now, the ball is in PSG’s court, as the Slovakian and his representatives expect the French champions to respond with an equivalent offer to the one from the Premier League.
