Cremonese head coach Davide Ballardini feels that at this stage, every single match and point in Serie A is vital for his team.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of this evening’s Serie A clash with Inter, via FCInterNews, Ballardini stressed how, with the team’s circumstances, they must fight for every single point no matter how difficult.

On paper, Cremonese should not be one of Inter’s tougher matches of the season.

However, the Nerazzurri found out the hard way that even teams lower down in the table can get results against the top sides in their loss to Empoli earlier this week.

Moreover, the fact that Cremonese currently sit bottom of the table gives them additional motivation.

Having recently appointed Ballardini as coach, the Lombard team have looked motivated and organized, eliminating Napoli from the Coppa Italia before taking a hard-fought point away from Bologna.

“For us, every match is of vital importance,” the coach said, “whether we’re playing against Bologna away from home or against Inter at home.”

“When we play as a team, we can do great things,” he continued.

“In any event, we know the quality that Inter have, and also the quality that Bologna do, but no matter what, our performance will also be important,” Ballardini added.
