Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to turn to Kristjan Asllani in midfield for today’s Serie A match against Cremonese at the Stadio Giovanni Zini.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Albania international will be named amongst the starters in the centre alongside Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Nicolo Barella is suspended after picking up a yellow card in the defeat to Empoli on Monday evening, ruling him out of the trip today, and so it is reported that Inzaghi will look to Asllani to take his place ahead of Roberto Gagliardini.

Elsewhere, Denzel Dumfries will start at right wingback, with Matteo Darmian dropping into defence to cover the suspended Milan Skriniar, along with Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni.

Federico Dimarco will be named at left wingback, whilst Inzaghi is expected to pair Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez in attack for the match against the league’s bottom club.
