Paris Saint-Germain have submitted an offer to buy Inter centre-back Milan Skriniar this month, with the Nerazzurri targeting Tiago Djalo on loan should he depart.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, Skriniar informed his Inter teammates yesterday that he has agreed terms to join PSG when his contract expires in June, opening the door for the French club to try to swoop for him six months early.

The Ligue 1 leaders have offered €15 million for the Slovakia international this weekend, but with only three days left of the transfer window there is little time for Inter to complete a sale and find an immediate replacement.

Whilst wingback Matteo Darmian’s adaptability allowed him to slot into the back three during yesterday’s 2-1 win over Cremonese, with Skriniar suspended, a more suitable option is needed.

Should Skriniar depart for France this month, Inter will look to Ligue 1 for his replacement and attempt to bring in Lille’s Djalo, possibly on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.
