Inter and defender Milan Skriniar have denied that the player spoke to Slovakian media announcing his departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

According to FCInter1908.it, the former Sampdoria player has distanced himself from comments attributed to him by Slovakian outlet Futbalsfv.sk in which he reportedly confirmed that he had reached an agreement to join PSG, and that he was waiting for the French club to find an arrangement with Inter.

Skriniar is due to become a free agent in the summer when his Nerazzurri contract expires and is expected to make the switch to PSG, but has informed Inter that he did not give the alleged interview.

The club have accepted this and do not believe that Skriniar made any statement, although it is reported that this changes little, given that they expect him to move on to PSG in the summer on a free transfer.

PSG have submitted an offer to sign Skriniar this month but it fell short of Inter’s €20 million valuation.
