Inter are expecting to receive a formal transfer offer for defender Milan Skriniar from Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow, according to journalist Fabrizio Biasin.

Posting on Twitter, and as reported by FCInter1908.it, the Italian journalist revealed that PSG were preparing an offer in an effort to tempt the Nerazzurri to sell Skriniar before the January transfer window closes, rather than wait for him to become a free agent in the summer.

Skriniar is out of contract in June and has rejected a new deal at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in favour of a switch to Ligue 1, but Biasin revealed that PSG are likely to submit an offer for him, after seeing a previous bid knocked back yesterday.

Inter are holding out for €20 million for the Slovakia international and would only entertain bids that come close to this, so as to be able to bring in a replacement immediately.

Biasin added that should Skriniar be sold, Inter have already identified two names that they would like to bring in, but the former Sampdoria will be available for Tuesday’s Coppa Italia clash against Atalanta if PSG do not complete a deal.

“With respect to the first offer from PSG, Inter are waiting for an increase by tomorrow. In the case of an offer close to 20 million the player will leave (two names in the running for the replacement), vice versa he will be at Inzaghi’s disposal for Tuesday’s match,” Biasin tweeted.

Skriniar missed yesterday’s Serie A 2-1 win over Cremonese through suspension, but could feature against the Oribici at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in midweek.
