Inter have begun the search for a replacement for Milan Skriniar and could target Udinese centre-back Rodrigo Becao, according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi.

Skriniar appears to be on the verge of a move to Paris Saint-Germain after turning down a contract extension with the Nerazzurri, and has been the subject of a bid from the French club this month, whilst he could move on as a free agent in the summer.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Barzaghi revealed that Inter could make a move for Brazilian defender Becao after he suggested that he intended to leave the Dacia Arena in the near future.

Inter have been linked with Lille’s Tiago Djalo and Manchester United’s Sweden international Victor Lindelof, but Barzaghi hinted that a move for Becao could also be in the works.

“There is also another name being mentioned, that of Rodrigo Becao, who has a valuation of around €10 million and who spoke yesterday, stating that he will always remain grateful to Udinese.

“Words that sounded like a farewell. Even here, however, we have no confirmation of an advanced negotiation,” Barzaghi said.

Becao joined Udinese from Brazilian club Bahia in 2019 and has made 111 appearances for the Zebrette.
