Inter and Monza have agreed on a loan deal for young Monza-owned defender Sheriff Kassama, which contains an option to buy the player permanently.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are close to getting a deal to sign the 18-year-old from the Brianzoli’s youth academy.

Kassama joined Monza’s youth system in the summer of 2021, where he has quickly established himself and risen through the ranks.

The young Italian has become a regular in the Lombard team’s Primavera side this season, where he has started to look ready to make the step up into the senior professional game based on his standard of performance.

The Nerazzurri took notice, and over the past weeks have been working to bring Kassama in to play for their own youth team.

According to SportItalia, the two clubs have now reached a complete agreement on the terms of a loan deal containing a purchase option.
