Young Inter goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao is set to join SPAL on loan for the rest of the current season.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air yesterday evening via FCInter1908 that the Nerazzurri have reached an agreement with the Serie B side to send the Brazilian out on loan until the end of the campaign.

Brazao had suffered a knee injury during the summer which meant that a planned loan spell back at his old club Cruzeiro was cut short before it could begin.

However, the young keeper has recovered over the first half of the season, and was fit enough to take part in the Nerazzurri’s winter training camp whilst he has also been in the squad in recent matches as Samir Handanovic has been out injured.

The 22-year-old became a target for SPAL, and according to Di Marzio, the Emilians have reached an agreement to sign him on loan for the rest of the season.
