Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani is likely to start for the Nerazzurri in this evening’s Coppa Italia clash with Atalanta.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who predict that the 20-year-old Albanian will reprise his starting role from the round of sixteen of the competition against Parma.

Asllani was given an opportunity in the starting eleven for Inter’s clash with Parma earlier this month, putting in an eye-catching display at the heart of midfield as the Nerazzurri saw off the Serie B side to reach the next round of the Coppa Italia.

The former Empoli midfielder has not started in any of the Nerazzurri’s matches since then.

However, Tuttosport reports, Asllani is likely to return to the starting eleven for this evening’s quarterfinal match against Atalanta.

The newspaper’s completed predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Asllani, Calhanoglu, Gosens; Correa, Lautaro.
