Marcelo Brozovic Pushing To Be Available For Inter Milan In Derby Clash Vs AC Milan, Italian Media Report

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is pushing to be fit and available for the Nerazzurri in Sunday’s Serie A clash with AC Milan.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 30-year-old is aiming to complete a full training session tomorrow in view of being fit enough to at least be on the bench in the derby this weekend.

Brozovic will be out for at least one more match for Inter as he continues to recover from the calf problem which has ruled him out of action since the winter break.

The Croat will not be in the matchday squad for this evening’s Coppa Italia clash with Atalanta.

However, Brozovic is pushing to be able to get a full training session in tomorrow, the Gazzetta reports.

The midfielder’s intention is to be at least fit enough to start on the bench against the Rossoneri on Sunday, and his fitness will be determined in the next few training sessions.
