Paris Saint-Germain’s offer to Inter to sign defender Milan Skriniar never exceeded €10 million in total.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that despite the Nerazzurri anticipating the possibility of an increased offer, one never arrived.

Inter had been considering accepting an offer from PSG to sell Skriniar before the end of the transfer window rather than losing the 27-year-old on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

However, the Nerazzurri’s intention was always clear, and they were never set to cash in for an offer that didn’t at least get close to their asking price.

PSG’s initial offer was to sign the former Sampdoria defender for the €10 million fee with all add-ons included, and this was not high enough for Inter.

According to the Gazzetta, the Parisians never went beyond this, which is why Skriniar has remained an Inter player after the closing of the January transfer window.
