Atletico Madrid are still keen to sign Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram, who is also a target for the likes of Inter, Juventus, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.

This according to Spanish news outlet AS, via FCInterNews, who report that the Colchoneros are still hoping to bring in the 25-year-old, although they will only be able to do so if they are to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Thuram looks clearly set to leave Gladbach on a free transfer at the end of the current season, but where the Frenchman will go remains up in the air.

Inter have been targeting the former Gungamp player since the summer of 2021 when he had been lined up as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, whilst they have reignited their interest in him on a free transfer for June.

Meanwhile, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Spurs are all keen on bringing Thuram to the Premier League, and Inter’s Serie A rivals Juventus are also considering him a target.

According to AS, however, La Liga giants Atletico have hardly given up in the race to sign the Frenchman.
