Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and goalkeeper Samir Handanovic both completed a full training session along with the rest of the team today.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that the midfielder only missed out on the final training match of the session, but was able to take part in the rest of the session.

Brozovic and Handanovic were the two injury absences in Inter’s squad for yesterday evening’s Coppa Italia clash with Atalanta.

Both of the pair have been getting close to returning to full fitness, however, and further positive signs have emerged from today’s training session.

According to Sky, both of the players trained normally, whilst Brozovic sat out from the final training match of the session.

Sky reports that, whilst the Croat is not set to be ready to start for the Nerazzurri in Sunday’s Serie A derby clash with AC Milan, the 30-year-old should certainly be ready to appear as a substitute.
