Inter have already presented their initial contract extension offer to midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to offer the 28-year-old a new two-year deal worth €5 million net per season, and that they want to agree a deal before the end of the season.

As things stand, Calhanoglu’s contract with the Nerazzurri is set to run out at the end of June 2024.

However, the club do not want to waste any time, and are hoping to avoid having the former AC Milan midfielder going into the final season of his deal without signing an extension.

To this end, the Nerazzurri have already met with Calhanoglu’s representatives and put their offer of a new contract on the table.

The Gazzetta reports that Inter have offered the Turkish international a deal until the end of June 2026 at wages of €5 million net per season.
