Inter wingback Matteo Darmian has no doubt that defender Milan Skriniar will continue to give his all until the end of the season despite the transfer saga that has caused much uncertainty around his situation.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, the 33-year-old made clear that he absolutely believes that the professionalism of his teammate will show through over the rest of the campaign.

Skriniar has been at the subject of much attention off the pitch, after the Slovakian made clear that he does not intend to extend his contract with Inter and is instead ready to make the switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

For some fans, this has led to questions about whether the former Sampdoria will have his mind fully focused on Inter over the rest of the campaign, or whether he will play with some distraction.

From Darmian’s perspective, however, there are no doubts.

The former Manchester United man assured that Skriniar has given every indication of being focused on Inter for the rest of the season, and his performance levels should not drop.

“I don’t think any of us have ever had any doubts regarding his professionalism,” he said of the Slovakian.

“Milan is a great professional and a great person, I’ve known him for two and a half years now.”

“I can tell you with certainty that from now until the end of the season, he will give everything to help Inter achieve the team’s goals for the season.”
