Inter defender Milan Skriniar will start for the Nerazzurri’s in this weekend’s derby clash with AC Milan in Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that there is little question that the Slovakian will come back into the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven to face the Rossoneri.

Skriniar has been out of Inter’s squad altogether for the team’s last two matches.

Against Cremonese in the league, the 27-year-old was serving a one-match suspension following his red card against Empoli.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday’s Coppa Italia quarterfinal clash with Atalanta, Skriniar was absent from the squad and coach Simone Inzaghi confirmed that this was to give the player time to himself amid the ongoing drama with his links to Paris Saint-Germain.

This has led to some speculation that the former Sampdoria defender could also be left out for Sunday’s derby match.

However, according to the Corriere, the 27-year-old will start against the Rossoneri.
