Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has not yet made his decision on whether to start Francesco Acerbi or Stefan de Vrij in the centre of the back three against AC Milan on Sunday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the heart of the defense is the Nerazzurri coach’s main selection dilemma ahead of this weekend’s derby clash.

Both Acerbi and de Vrij have started a number of matches for Inter this season, although it has been Acerbi who has been favoured slightly more often between the two former Lazio players.

However, de Vrij started at the heart of the back three against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday, and the Dutchman gave very positive indications with his performance.

Accordingly, the Corriere reports, Inzaghi has a real decision on his hands for the starting eleven on Sunday, and he has yet to make a choice either way.
