Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is very likely to start the same lineup against AC Milan in Serie A this weekend as he had done against the Rossoneri in the Supercoppa Italiana a couple weeks ago.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri coach is set to try and replicate the approach that secured a 3-0 win in the last edition of the Milan derby.

Two derby clashes between Inter and Milan being played so close together means that little has changed for either team in the period between matches, at least theoretically and focusing on the pitch rather than off-pitch dramas.

Inzaghi had masterminded an emphatic 3-0 victory over the Nerazzurri’s derby rivals to lift the Supercoppa last month, and according to the Gazzetta, the coach would have little intention of deviating too far from the approach that was so effective in that match.

According to the newspaper, the coach is set to start with the same eleven as in the Supercoppa match in Riyadh, player for player.
