Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard is likely to seek a new challenge for next season, with Inter one of the clubs keenest on his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Frenchman whose contract runs out at the end of June 2024 is ready to leave the German champions, and that he would consider the Nerazzurri.

Pavard had been one of the main names linked with Inter in the final days of the January transfer window, as the Nerazzurri sought a replacement for Milan Skriniar if the Slovakian were to leave for Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer deadline.

However, the negotiations with Bayern came to nothing, and both Skriniar and Pavard have remained at their current clubs at least until the end of the season.

However, Tuttosport reports, Pavard’s desire to find a new club where he would have more guaranteed playing time has hardly diminished.

The 26-year-old former Stuttgart defender wants to leave Bavaria in the summer transfer, and the Nerazzurri are likely to be one of his major suitors as they aim to move on from Skriniar on the right side of their defense.
