Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is set to start on the bench for the Nerazzurri in this weekend’s derby clash with AC Milan in Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are likely to line up on Sunday with the same starting eleven that they had done when they last faced the Rossoneri in the Supercoppa Italiana.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have Brozovic to call upon for the first time since the return from the winter break, as the Croat is finally set to be called up following a number of matches out with a calf injury.

However, the 30-year-old is not set to go straight into the starting eleven.

Rather, the Corriere reports, Inzaghi is set to start the same midfield trio as in the Supercoppa, with Hakan Calhanoglu starting at the base of midfield.

The newspaper’s complete predicted eleven for the derby is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
