Inter striker Edin Dzeko is still the favourite to start in attack in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with AC Milan, but the chances for Romelu Lukaku to do so are rising steadily.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will make his decision as to which striker to start alongside Lautaro Martinez based on tomorrow morning’s training session.

Time is running out for Inzaghi to make his decision as far as which striker will lead the line in tomorrow’s match against the Rossoneri.

It has been Dzeko who has been considered the favourite for the past few days, as despite some positive signs from Lukaku in training and in Tuesday’s Coppa Italia quarterfinal match against Atalanta, the Belgian is not yet fully fit.

However, Lukaku has continued to impress in training, and Inzaghi is increasingly thinking that he could be the right option.
