Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has made the victory over AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana a key part of the team’s preparations for tomorrow’s league fixture against the Rossoneri.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri coach has been analyzing video of the Supercoppa win along with the squad in the hopes of orchestrating a similar victory.

In terms of the physical preparations, little has changed from Inter’s usual routine for the day before a match.

The training sessions and team lunch will be as normal as the Nerazzurri squad aim to be in their best physical condition for tomorrow’s derby clash.

However, given that Inter have faced the same opposition just a few weeks ago, managing an emphatic victory in the Supercoppa, Inzaghi wants to keep this momentum going.

Accordingly, the Gazzetta reports, the Supercoppa will be a theme of today’s preparations, as Inzaghi aims to identify what made the approach so successful in Riyadh, and work to replicate those aspects in training with the team today.
