There is increasingly a chance of striker Romelu Lukaku starting for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Serie A derby clash with AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old’s displays in training are giving Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi a tough decision to make between he and Dzeko to start the match.

There is virtually no doubt that the in-form Lautaro Martinez will start tomorrow evening’s match.

As far as which striker will play alongside the Argentine from the start, however, Inzaghi has not yet fully made up his mind.

Dzeko has been considered the likely candidate to start, as Lukaku’s fitness is still not at 100%, whilst the coach would not want to lose out on the Bosnian’s influence on play in midfield and holding up the ball.

However, Lukaku offers something different, and based on what the coach has been seeing in training he is beginning to seriously consider opting for the Belgian ahead of Dzeko, according to the Gazzetta.
