Inter forward Joaquin Correa could miss out on the Nerazzurri’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Porto later this month through injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old’s thigh injury could be serious enough to rule him out of the next few matches including against Porto.

What is certain is that Correa will be out of Inter’s squad for this evening’s Milan derby clash.

The Argentine had picked up a thigh problem in training yesterday evening, and he will not be able to play against the Rossoneri.

The exact severity of the injury is not yet clear, although according to the Corriere there is a good chance of the former Lazio player missing more matches as he recovers from his most recent injury setback.

According to the newspaper, there is a chance that Correa could be unable to play against Porto in the Champions League.
