Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has become the second-highest non-Italian goalscorer in the Milan derby for the Nerazzurri with his goal against AC Milan in yesterday evening’s 1-0 win.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that the Argentine has become a real “derby killer” and that his seven goals against the Rossoneri put him behind only Hungarian Istvan Nyers who is on eleven for non-Italian Nerazzurri scorers.

Martinez once again proved to be the man for the big occasion, as he scored against the Rossoneri for the second time in just under three weeks.

It is now fair to say that the 25-year-old has made a habit of doing this, and that Milan will be sick of the sight of him.

Martinez got himself free to head home from a Hakan Calhanoglu corner to give his team the three points, and now only Nyers is ahead of him in the standings for non-Italian Inter scorers in the derby.
