Inter are set to receive 15% of a fee of at least €16 million for the sale of midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo to Galatasaray, which could rise to €20 million or €22 million.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNEws, who detail the amount which the Nerazzurri can expect to cash in on in the form of a sell-on fee as part of the transfer of the 23-year-old.

Zaniolo is set to officially join Galatasaray today, with the Turkish transfer window closing and the former Nerazzurri midfielder having a chance for an exit strategy now that he is no longer a part of the Giallorossi project.

Roma and Galatasaray have agreed a total fee of €16 million plus add-ons, potentially rising to €16 million.

Inter are entitled to a 15% sell-on fee as per the deal that saw Zaniolo make the switch to the Italian capital in 2018, and so will bring in at least €2.4 million from the deal, potentially rising as high as €3.3 million.
