According to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, Inter have yet to provide substantial confirmation of the reports that they are in talks with a tourism company from the middle east to become the main shirt sponsor starting next season.

Reporting in a video on his YouTube channel, Barzaghi explained that he has spoken with the Nerazzurri regarding the reports that advanced talks are ongoing with a potential replacement for DigitalBits on the front of the team’s shirt.

A report emerged yesterday that Inter are in talks with a tourism company from the middle east to replace DigitalBits as the main shirt sponsor next season.

Whilst DigitalBits is set to remain as the main shirt sponsor for the rest of the current season, there is virtually no question that the club will have to replace the cryptocurrency company for next season considering their continued nonpayment of amounts owed.

Whilst the report from yesterday suggested that talks are quite far along with a potential replacement, Barzaghi was unable to find verification of this from talking to the club.

“Based on who I’ve spoken to, there hasn’t been any confirmation, quite the contrary,” he said.

“We’ll see if there is any further news.”

“At the moment there’s no confirmation of any kind,” the journalist continued, “the talks seem to concern a company in the tourism sector, but there’s been no confirmation.”

“Meetings have taken place in Riyadh, but it’s not certain that they’ve been part of this negotiation,” Barzaghi added.
