The difference in Inter’s form in head-to-head matches against their toughest rivals has been nothing short of night and day comparing the matches before the winter break and those after.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that it hasn’t just been that the team are winning now, but also the manner of those wins.

In the first few weeks, Inter’s form in the big Serie A matches was nothing short of dreadful.

Losses against the likes of Lazio, AC Milan, Udinese, and Juventus saw Inter shipping goals and squandering leads left and right.

The Nerazzurri did finally get a win against a European-level team in their final match before the winter break, beating Atalanta by a 3-2 scoreline.

However, it has been on returning from the break that the Nerazzurri have really shone in these types of matches.

Not only have Inter beaten all of Napoli, Atalanta, and Milan twice across all competitions, but they have done so without conceding a single goal.
