Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is set to start for the Nerazzurri in Monday’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Croat is likely to be in the starting eleven to face the Blucerchiati, whilst Romelu Lukaku is likely to start ahead of Edin Dzeko in attack.
Brozovic has not started for Inter in around five months, having been out for almost the entire period between the September international break and the World Cup, and then only coming back from a post-World Cup injury over the last week or so.
The Croat has made a handful of substitute appearances during the period, including during the second half of Inter’s derby win over AC Milan on Sunday.
However, the 30-year-old is all ready to make his return to the starting lineup, and according to Sky, the chances of his starting against Sampdoria are very good.
