Inter’s target for the end of June of this year will be for a net profit of €40 million from transfers.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will still be seeking a significant net profit in the transfer market by the end of the current fiscal year.

Inter had been reported to have a target of around €60 million net profit in the transfer market last summer, and whilst sales of Cesare Casadei and Andrea Pinamonti went part of the way to making this up, the expected big name sale never came to pass.

In the past week, Inter have brought in a sell-on fee of at least €2.25 million from Nicolo Zaniolo’s transfer from Roma to Galatasaray, but this has more than offset by the fact that the €10 million purchase obligation on Kristjan Asllani’s move from Empoli has been triggered by the first Serie A points picked up in February.

Accordingly, the total goal for the end of the fiscal year will be around €40 million.
