Former Inter defender Jeison Murillo is set to start for Sampdoria in Monday evening’s Serie A clash with the Nerazzurri, whilst Manolo Gabbiadini will start in attack.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who predict that the pair will be in the Blucerchiati’s starting eleven as coach Dejan Stankovic looks to play his strongest team and get an improbable result to spark a great escape from the relegation zone.

Sampdoria will have to do without one of the linchpins of their defense this season in the form of Omar Colley, who has left to join Besiktas.

Koray Gunter arrived from Hellas Verona on loan during the January transfer window to reinforce the defense, but FCInterNews predict that it will be former Inter, Celta Vigo, Valencia, and Barcelona defender Murillo who lines up alongside Bruno Amione and Bram Nuytinck.

FCInterNews’ complete predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

Sampdoria (3-4-1-2): Audero; Amione, Nuytinck, Murillo; Zanoli, Cuisance, Winks, Augello; Djuricic; Gabbiadini, Lammers.
