Inter’s pursuit of Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram is under threat from rivals AC Milan, as well as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Chelsea.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri remain determined to bring France international Thuram in when his Gladbach contract expires this summer, after he made clear his desire to leave as a free agent.

However, Milan have now joined the race to sign for the former Guingamp forward and will challenge Inter for his signature as they seek to bolster their attacking options.

Inter are preparing a contract worth €5 million per season for the 25-year-old, but must also fight off interest from La Liga rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, whilst Premier League club Chelsea are ready to swoop for him.

The Nerazzurri are aided by Bayern Munich stepping away from Thuram though, with the Bundesliga champions ready to focus their efforts on signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is their alternative option.
