Chelsea are set to have an overhaul of their squad in the summer and they will look to move on a number of players, including Inter loanee Romelu Lukaku.

According to British television broadcaster ESPN, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, the Blues are planning a clear out of the squad after heavily investing under new owner Todd Boehly this season, and they are ready to cut their losses on Lukaku after spending €115 million to sign him from Inter in 2021.

The Belgium international returned to the Nerazzurri at the start of the season but has struggled for form and fitness, though the club are considering making an approach to retain him next year too.

Elsewhere, forwards Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic will also be allowed to leave, whilst Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has no future at Stamford Bridge after being left off their Champions League squad list.

The Premier League club could also seek to move on Kalidou Koulibaly just a year on from signing him from Napoli, whilst ex-Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic may also be placed on the transfer list, alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Meanwhile, the respective futures of Mason Mount and N’Golo Kante depend on them agreeing new contracts over the coming months.
