Sampdoria coach Dejan Stankovic is short of options for Monday evening’s Serie A clash against Inter, as he prepares to take on his former club.

As reported by FCInter1908.it, ex-Inter midfielder Stankovic has been preparing the final training sessions for the Blucerchiati before they welcome the Nerazzurri to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Languishing in 19th place and under significant threat of relegation, Sampdoria are in desperate need of points but Stankovic is expected to be without former AC Milan fullback Andrea Conti and Argentine winger Ignacio Pussetto after their recent injuries.

Centre-back Koray Gunter did not take part in group training today and continued to work with physios, whilst left-back Nicola Murru was absent after suffering from illness.

Manuel De Luca and Simone Trimboli are doubts for the match against Inter after undergoing individual training programmes, and the pair are set to be assessed over the weekend before Stankovic decides on his team.
