Premier League giants Manchester United are very keen on signing Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries during the summer transfer window.

This according to UK tabloid The Sun, who report that the Red Devils have already made initial contacts with the Nerazzurri regarding the former PSV player last month, and that he is a major transfer target for them for the summer.

Dumfries has been linked with a summer exit from Inter, with the Dutchman one of the main possible candidates to be sold during the upcoming transfer window as the Nerazzurri aim to bring in a transfer profit during the window.

United are in search of a right-sided full-back to reinforce their squad for next season, and could be ready to target the 26-year-old.

According to The Sun, the Red Devils had already contacted Inter about Dumfries during the January transfer window, although in the end they prioritized a move for Burnley striker Wout Weghorst on loan instead.
