Inter wingback Robin Gosens is set to be in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for this evening’s Serie A clash away to Sampdoria.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the German will start against the Blucerchiati ahead of Federico Dimarco, whilst Denzel Dumfries will remain on the bench with Matteo Darmian set to start.

Gosens has not been a regular in Inter’s starting eleven this season, as the outstanding form of Dimarco on the Nerazzurri’s left flank has kept the former Atalanta player out of the team.

However, the Corriere reports, the 28-year-old will be given a chance to show his quality from the start in this evening’s Serie A match away to Sampdoria.

For Dumfries, however, it will be a different story.

The Corriere predicts that the Dutchman will continue to be left out of the starting lineup, with Darmian to retain his place on the right.
