Neither of Inter striker Romelu Lukaku nor midfielder Nicolo Barella will be fined for the incident which saw the pair become visibly frustrated with one another during yesterday evening’s Serie A draw against Sampdoria.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the club already consider the matter to be settled, and that no further action will be taken against either of the pair.
Late in the second half of yesterday’s match, Lukaku and Barella both appeared to lose their temper, as the striker reacted to some negative midfielder by the midfielder.
Considering that the incident could be seen as unprofessional from the pair, there could well have been a possibility that either or both of the pair could have received fines or another form of sanctions in response from the club.
However, according to the Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri are treating it as a settled matter and neither of the duo will be fined.
