Torino are ready to ask for €50 million for defender Perr Schuurs amid interest from Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United, and Inter could be the indirect beneficiaries of the Dutchman’s skyrocketing valuation.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who suggest that the Granata could decide to make the loan move of Nerazzurri wingback Valentino Lazaro permanent with the cash windfall from a big money sale of Schuurs.

If Schuurs had emerged as a target for Inter to strengthen their backline at point, he now already looks to be out of sight based on the interest from richer clubs in the Premier League.

Liverpool were among the first to come forward, but now also Spurs and Man United have started to contact Torino about signing the former Ajax defender.

For this reason, the Granata feel confident that they can demand no less than €50 million for the Dutchman’s signature, despite his having only arrived during the summer as a replacement for Juventus-bound Bremer.

If Torino are to bring in a fee of this size, they would have the financial wiggle room to think about making the signings of some players currently only on loan permanent.

Lazaro is on a season-long loan from Inter, whilst Aleksei Miranchuk is on loan from Atalanta and Nikola Vlasic from West Ham United, with the trio having purchase options worth a combined €33 million.

If Torino can get a deal done to sell Schuurs for a huge fee, they could be much more inclined to sign these players permanently, Tuttosport note.
