Premier League side Arsenal are keen to sign Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, who would be “very interested” in joining the North London club.

This according to UK news outlet Football Insider, who claim that a fee of €70-80 million could be enough for the Gunners to get a deal done for the Argentine during the summer transfer window.

As Football Insider notes, the financial situation at Inter means that no player is necessarily completely off the market.

The UK outlet claims that Arsenal, who have shown an interest in signing Martinez in the past, are ready to resume their pursuit of the World Cup winner.

According to the outlet, the Gunners have been pushed by the injury to striker Gabriel Jesus this season to look for a target to reinforce in the central attacking position as they aim to build on this season and be competitive domestically and in Europe over the next campaigns.

The Premier League leaders feel that Martinez would be the right player to move for in this respect, and they see the Argentine as an attainable target.

Football Insider claim that sources have put forward €70-80 million as the amount that would be sufficient to get a deal done with Inter.

Moreover, the outlet claims, the player himself would be very interested in joining the Gunners which could make a deal even more feasible.
