Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are ready to compete for the signature of Stuttgart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos with the likes of Inter and Atletico Madrid.

This according to German newspaper WAZ, via FCInterNews, who report that the 25-year-old would likely cost around €15 million, and that the player is keen to leave his current club.

Former Arsenal defender Mavropanos has shone for Stuttgart over the past couple of seasons, and his form for the German team has attracted a significant amount of transfer interest.

Inter are among the clubs who are tracking the Greek international, having even reportedly enquired about him towards the end of the January transfer window when it looked as though they could be in search of a replacement for Milan Skriniar.

The Slovakian is still a player who the Nerazzurri will have to replace in the summer, and according to WAZ Mavropanos is a player on their radar.

Meanwhile, La Liga giants Atletico are also keen on the 25-year-old, whilst Wolfsburg have also joined the race.
