Inter striker Edin Dzeko is set to start for the Nerazzurri in Wednesday evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Porto.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Bosnian is likely to be included in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for the match, whilst he will be rested for the start against Udinese in Serie A over the weekend.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have a decision to make as far as who starts in attack in Wednesday evening’s Champions League clash with Porto.
It is likely that Lautaro Martinez will start the match, whilst Joaquin Correa will be out of the match as he continues to recover from a thigh injury.
However, it is between Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku as to who will start alongside Martinez, in all likelihood.
According to the Gazzetta, the former Roma striker is the player who Inter coach Inzaghi is leaning towards.
